What is Nutritional Therapy

As a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, I am trained in nutritional counseling from a holistic, whole food, nutrient-dense perspective. I view each client as unique, needing a specific plan to optimize their own health, not a "one way of eating fits all" approach. I believe natural health can be achieved through a holistic and individualized approach to nutrition and lifestyle. I do not diagnose or treat conditions; instead, I support imbalances in the body to bring back vitality while guiding clients to become educated about and responsible for their own health.
As an FNTP, I focus on bringing balance back to the five foundations of digestion, blood sugar regulation, fatty acids, mineral balance, and hydration.
I specialize in helping mothers strengthen their home and family. I guide the mother who balances children's activities work schedules and squeezes family dinner somewhere between. The mother that is ignoring her own well-being because she is so focused on the needs of her family. The mother who feels she is "failing" the latest health and wellness trends. The mother who wants to create simple yet healthy lifestyle habits that can fit in with her busy and unpredictable mommy schedule.
In Nutritional Therapy, my first step is always an in-depth consultation (discovery session). We focus on taking a thorough medical and life history to understand and figure out what has led to the current set of symptoms. I want to dig deep into core motivation and find how it aligns with my client's core values.
